Well, race fans, it has been a long time since the last race in January - but the break was necessary to focus on the right response to the COVID pandemic. The good news is that, as we shared before, the race season is starting back up in July and there are many races on the schedule to get you back in the groove. Unfortunately, Roman will not be racing in the first event back in Daytona on July 4th weekend with the rest of his class.The Heart of Racing team made the difficult decision to sit out the race, as they want to ensure they are doing everything they can to care for their drivers and teams. Roman shared that although he wants to get back on the track, he is incredibly thankful that he is part of a team who puts their crew first. The team and Roman also shared they plan to be back at the track, so keep an eye out for his return!For now, they will be keeping an eye on their competition in Daytona, and Roman will continue to train and enjoy some online racing to stay sharp for when he does hit the track.
