Podium Finish at Sebring

March 26, 2024

Sebring, FL

Roman and his Heart of Racing teammates were back on track this past weekend for the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. The team started in P9 after qualifying, but they were out of the gate strong and had the podium in their sights. The race was eventful, with yellow flags causing the driver lineup to change and Roman rushing back out to the car to take the team into the evening. De Angelis, Ian James, and Ross Gunn all had strong stints in the car and had to avoid potential collisions while working their way through the field. This solid showing for the team was indeed a team effort and put them in position for Gunn to take that third spot before the checkered flag.De Angelis had this to say about the race, "To finish the Twelve Hours of Sebring in the podium after the amount of events that occurred throughout the race is pretty impressive on any mark and shows the hard work, clean stops, and smart driving by the whole team. I can't thank everyone at the Heart of Racing in Seattle, New Zealand, and the whole team for the support and effort and I'm super pumped to take the good points into the next round."This is the second year in a row that The Heart of Racing team was on the podium at this race. With two strong races in this season behind them, The Heart of Racing team is looking forward to continuing this strength through the year. They race next in Mid-Ohio; make sure to check out the schedule so you don't miss the action.Keep up with all the action and news with Roman and The Heart of Racing's #23 car by following Roman on social media.
