Heart of Racing Podium

November 16, 2020 – Sebring, FL

Roman and his Heart of Racing teammates took to the track for the final race of the challenging 2020 season this past weekend. The Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring made for an exciting last race for the team. In Florida, the drivers prepared with the crew and had a solid showing during practice and qualifying. Starting the race in 11th place meant the drivers would need to navigate the pack to get close to the top, and all three of them were down for the challenge. It was a gruelling 12 hours, but the drivers were solid, and the team came out with a second-place finish. That is the best finish of this season for the team, and Roman had this to say after; “I’m so glad we ended on a result that validates and reflects the commitment and dedication.” After pushing for a podium finish for the Heart of Racing Aston Martin for a while the drivers and crew were able to celebrate and end the 2020 season on a high note. In a press release, the Heart of Racing team said the #23 Aston Martin is looking forward to the 2021 season in the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship, so keep an eye out for more details on that in the coming months.
