Roman De Angelis was back in the #27 Heart of Racing Aston Martin GT3 for the 12 Hours of Sebrg this past weekend. He was joined by teammates Ian James and Zacharie Robichon to compete in the IMSA WeatherTech GTD class. After Ian James started the races and completed the first three stints, De Angelis and Robichon took over and alternated for the remainder of the race. At the halfway mark of the race De Angelis and Robichon had the #27 car sitting in fourth position in their class. The duo was able to maintain this position through the caution filled second half of the race with De Angelis crossing the finish line with a top five finish. It was a great result for De Angelis and the team who now have their sights set on Long Beach next month.
