Stavelot, Belgium – June 21, 2022
Roman De Angelis is happy to announce he will be joining Beechdean AMR to race in the prestigious 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps from July 28th to 31st in Belgium. This will be De Angelis’s second time competing at the 24 Hours of Spa after he made his debut at the race in 2020 with the Garage 59 team. For 2022 De Angelis will be racing in the #97 Aston Martin Vantage GT3, which is competing in the Gold classification. Joining him will be Team Principal Andrew Howard, Valentin Hasse-Clot and Theo Nouet in a four-driver lineup.
Beechdean AMR is a British-based multi-championship winning team currently competing in the GT World Challenge. De Angelis’s previous racing experience with current Beechdean AMR drivers Nicki Thiim & Maxime Martin under the Heart of Racing banner should help him quickly integrate into the team. Roman will see his first action in the #97 car with two days of testing beginning today (June 21st).
