It was a solid start to the 2022 motorsports season for Roman and the Heart of Racing team this past weekend in Dubai. Roman and the team competed in the first 24H Series race of the 2022 season, the Hankook 24H Dubai, at the Dubai Autodrome. Roman, Ian James, Gray Newell and Alex Riberas were able to pilot their Aston Martin Vantage GT4 car to a second-place finish in their class after completing 547 laps of racing. The team started the race in P2 after a strong qualifying session and were able to carry that success into the race for a podium finish. The team finished over 20 laps ahead of the third-place car in their class and only one lap behind the eventual class winner. This race was an excellent way for Roman to start his 2022 season and build confidence heading into Daytona this coming weekend at the Roar Before the Rolex 24.At the Roar Before the Rolex 24, Roman will be racing with Ian James again and teammates Darren Turner and Tom Gamble.
