Roman's return behind the wheel of the Heart of Racing, Aston Martin this weekend at Road America was bolstered by a mega announcement by Aston Martin Racing (AMR).Aston Martin Racing announced that Roman was selected as one of 13 drivers for the prestigious 2020 Aston Martin Racing Driver Academy. This program is beginning now that racing has resumed and COVID-19 measures are in place to ensure the safety of drivers and teams. The Driver Academy accepts top talent who are seen as future GT endurance superstars and provides them with additional training and support. The drivers, aged 17-25, are then judged on a variety of components - pace, consistency, teamwork, commercial and public relations, and more - and the winner who is selected will receive financial support for the 2021 racing season, simulator time, fitness training, and a TAG Heuer AMR timepiece.Roman is joining the academy as the only driver from Canada, and one of five from North America.
