Drivers, Start Your Engines!

March 26, 2024

Race fans, it is the moment we have been waiting for – IMSA has announced that we are back!  After another iRacing weekend for pro drivers like Roman, we finally get to look forward to the sound of an engine at the track.Late last week IMSA announced that they would be restarting the season for some of their classes, including the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship – which means Roman is preparing to be back behind the wheel!  The series hasn’t raced since Daytona in January but will be back at that track on July 3 to kick the season off again.  IMSA has announced that the first two races (at Daytona and then at Sebring also in July) will proceed without fans but will be broadcast for race fans to check out the action while still practising physical distancing to support COVID relief.“I was thrilled to hear the race season is starting again.  I am thankful that IMSA took the break to support the COVID response, and during that time I had a chance to continue to race on iRacing so that I could keep sharp – but nothing beats being at the track and behind the wheel of my Aston Martin Racing Vantage.” – De AngelisMake sure you check out Roman’s website to see the updated schedule and keep an eye out on his social for updates on how he is preparing to get back into the season after such a long break. 7 weeks from now, get ready to catch what is guaranteed to be a fantastic return to this season.
