This past weekend Roman and the Heart of Racing team participated in the 8th race of the season as part of the WeatherTech Sportscar Series. The race, at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, was another season-best finish for the team. De Angelis and his teammate Ian James had a solid practice and were feeling good going into this race weekend after seeing results from their hard work in the past few races. The team started race day in 5th place and showed a solid performance throughout the race. When De Angelis took over for the team, they were in 6th place, and he was able to fight his way up to 4th before seeing the checkered flag.After the race, De Angelis shared with his followers some photos from the weekend along with the following, "P4!!! We came so close to giving the Heart of Racing guys their first podium but still the best result so far... only up from here." Both the drivers and the rest of the team, are thrilled with the result for the #23 car. They are looking forward to their next race and pushing for a podium finish.
