Well, in a form at least. We know race fans, there is a lot going on right now, including the delay of race season across many series. It has left a lot of us wondering when we will get to hear the familiar sound of an engine or smell the mix of gasoline and burning rubber again. Although we don’t know when that will be, as even Roman’s first race in May at Mid-Ohio has presently been announced as postponed, we do still have good news.Roman will be racing this weekend…AND you can catch it online while practising safe social distancing. Thanks to IMSA and iRacing this coming March 21st is Sebring Super Saturday. Roman, and some other top drivers who are itching to be back on the track, have already signed up as the first few to commit to a 90-minute simulation race beginning at 2:30 pm EST. For this race, Roman will be back in a Porsche 911 and will be honing his skills on the virtual track, which even he shares are very similar to the feeling of getting back behind the wheel.Make sure you tune in for this unprecedented event and keep an eye on what else Roman has up his sleeve during this time where racing on the track is just not feasible by following him on his social channels.Twitter: @romandeangelisInstagram:@romandeangelisFacebook: @romandeangelisracingIf you are looking for more information on the race this weekend, check this out:https://www.imsa.com/news/2020/03/19/imsa-stars-barbosa-foley-de-angelis-among-early-entries-for-imsa-sebring-supersaturday-on-iracing/
