Roman De Angelis capped off his dominating Porsche GT3 Cup Canada season in style this past weekend with another double win weekend. De Angelis finishes the series with 11 wins out of a possible 12 and a point total of 413, 70 points clear of second. This is Roman's first platinum class championship in the series.A foggy and wet weekend looked to provide an added challenge to the last stop in the Canadian Championship at Mont Tremblant. But ultimately the weather proved no difficulty for Roman who was still able to qualify on pole in the first race of the weekend. With the title already secured, Roman was still able to put on a show during the race and capture his 10th victory of the series with a flag-to-flag win.Race number two for the weekend required a little more work from De Angelis who was running second until he was able to pass for the lead with 3 minutes remaining and capture his 11th win in the series.Roman's 2019 campaign with Mark Motor's Racing could not have gone better. After starting the season with a second-place finish, Roman was able to chain together 11 straight victories and help Mark Motor's Racing secure a second series championship in two years.Next up for Roman is Road Atlanta where he looks to repeat his performance from this weekend with Kelly-Moss Racing and end his Porsche GT3 USA season with another couple of victories to go along with a series title.
