Rough Weekend for Heart of Racing

October 19, 2020

Atlanta, GA

This past weekend Roman was back with his Heart of Racing team at Road Atlanta for the highly anticipated Petit le Mans. The endurance race was going to be a challenge for the team as they were, unfortunately, starting in the last place. After a few solid races recently the team was looking to continue their podium finishes here. After making their way up in the pace, and Roman pushing hard in a solid stint, the team was seated in 5th position. With a few hours to go, and a potential podium position in sight, the team made contact, and it took them out of the race. Thankfully there were no injuries, and both James and De Angelis were happy with the work they did during the time they were on track.

"Can't thank the whole team, Darren Turner, and Ian James, enough for all the work this weekend, we will be back stronger." - De Angelis

Roman's next race is going to be with another team as he continues to expand his skillset and gets more chances behind the wheel on different tracks. Keep up with him on social to see where he is next weekend.
