After a short offseason, Roman is getting ready to kick off 2021 at the ROAR Before the Rolex 24, January 21-24 and the legendary Rolex 24 At Daytona the following weekend. Roman is excited to be racing with The Heart of Racing team in the #23 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 again after their success in 2020.Roman and the team are looking to improve their results at Daytona this year and build on their strong finish to 2020. Last year an incident at pit entry just five hours into the race forced the #23 car to retire from the Rolex 24 after falling victim to an e. For the 2021 season Roman, Ian James and Darren Turner will be joined by new team member Ross Gunn in the #23 car.

"I'm so happy, honored and mostly excited to be back with the Heart of Racing at Daytona. We had such an amazing last year with 2 podiums and such a strong connection with the team by the end of the season. I'm very happy to be returning to the track to work with this amazing group of people and build on last years' results for a great Rolex 24 Hours At Daytona. I can't thank them enough for having me back!"

The upcoming IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar GTD Championship season has 13 races scheduled, making stops at several legendary tracks such as Daytona, Sebring and Watkins Glen. And although the uncertainty and difficulties we faced the previous year are still here, the organizers and planners of each race have been able to create safe environments for teams, allowing race fans to enjoy what is sure to be an exciting season.
