Tough Weekend at Laguna

September 16, 2021

Monterey, CA

Roman and the Heart of Racing team were back on the West Coast this past weekend at Laguna Seca for their latest race. The team has had a strong season, but this weekend was a tough one for them. After qualifying last, they had to fight from the back of the pack when the race began on Sunday afternoon. Roman was able to get the team back up to P7 after his stint, and his race partner, Ross Gunn, was driving well and bringing them closer to the top contenders with a few solid passes. Unfortunately, during his stint, Ross was punted and ended up slightly off the track. However, he recovered well, and the team continued their skilful driving through the back half of the race. In the end, the Heart of Racing team landed in P5 and were happy with the finish considering the challenges. Roman and Ross are now preparing with the team for their next race at the Long Beach GP.Keep up with all the action and news with Roman and The Heart of Racing's #23 car by following Roman on social media.
